‘Deeply Grateful’: Emperor Akihito Marks 30th Year of His Reign

Daichi Miura, an Okinawa-born singer, sang a solo performance of “Utagoe no Hibiki,” a song written by Emperor Akihito and composed by Empress Michiko on the theme of their exchanges with inpatients at a national Hansen’s disease (leprosy) sanatorium in Okinawa Prefecture.
