Brian MacDuckston

Brian was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. After working in tech for most of my 20s, he decided he needed a change and came to Japan to teach English. Around his second year in Japan, he had a great bowl of ramen and was hooked. This was the start of Ramen Adventures. Ramen Adventures started out as a blog and evolved into books, TV appearances, and a YouTube channel. Brian currently lives in Shinjuku, Tokyo which I use as a base to explore ramen around Japan and the world. Although he's been around 1300 ramen shops, he feels like he is just scratching the surface of the ramen scene. He's currently working on more books, overseas ramen pop-ups, and of course continuing the Ramen Adventures blog.
