Andrew Thomson is a former minister in the Australian Government, now resident in Kyushu, Japan. An international lawyer specializing in WTO rules and trade issues, he speaks Japanese, Chinese, and basic Arabic. Mr. Thomson attended Keio University, the University of Melbourne, and Georgetown University and has worked in Australia, the US, Saudi Arabia, China, and Japan. He is an author, and his latest book, ‘The Future of The World Depended on Japan’ was published in 2021 in Japanese by Ikuhosha Inc.
