“The competition was so special and so fun for me. During skating it was like skating inside a dream,” Miyahara recalled.
The list places a priority on results in major competitions, while taking into account mitigating factors like injury, record scores and big moves up the standings.
Hatakawa, who began skating at age 6, has used her admiration for Japanese stars Yuzuru Hanyu and Shoma Uno as inspiration over the years.
