Britain's 16-year-old Sky Brown, who was born in Miyazaki Prefecture, claimed her second straight bronze medal in women's park with 92.31.

Though all three medalists represented different countries, all of their mothers are Japanese.

"I was able to give it my all and win a medal," Hiraki was quoted as saying by Kyodo News.

She added, "I have no regrets about this competition."

Hiraki was in third place going into the final run, but moved up to second with her performance.

"I'm really happy," Hiraki commented. "I came up with a run that I want to show everyone and I was able to perform it."
