Tokyo Disneyland is hosting a new special event, "Donald's Quacky Duck! Duck! Duck City!" from April 8 through June 30. The event is the fourth installment in the "Pal-Palooza" series. A press preview was held on April 7.

This latest event expands on the 2024 edition, "Donald's Quacky Duck City," with a more elaborate setting. In the storyline, a crowd of Donald Duck fans called the "Quacky Ducks" — characters dreamed up by Donald himself — appear throughout the park. As suggested by the name, the entire park is themed around Donald Duck during the event.

A Parade Fit for a Superstar

At the park entrance, the flowerbed has been redesigned with a Donald Duck motif to welcome guests. In World Bazaar, a large monument of Donald stands at the center, presenting him as a superstar.

The area around Cinderella's Castle is also decorated with Donald Duck and the Quacky Ducks. The event aims to capture the chaotic and unpredictable charm associated with the character.

A special parade titled "Quacky Celebration ★ Donald the Legend!" features Donald riding a float led by Pete, who becomes his best friend in the dream world. Various Disney characters appear in the parade, celebrating Donald's imagined rise as the "King of Superstars."

Mao Yamazaki, a university student visiting from Urayasu, commented, "I really liked the jazz-style music in this year's parade. I was also happy to see José Carioca [Disney parrot character]."

"Donald's Wacky Classic Set"

The Plaza Pavilion Restaurant has also been redesigned with Quacky Duck-themed decor. Special menu items, including "Donald's Wacky Classic Set," are available, along with limited-edition merchandise.
