The Osaka Healthcare Pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, was completed on March 23. The pavilion, hosted by Osaka Prefecture and the city of Osaka, invites visitors to explore life and health through interactive games and augmented reality. Expo 2025 is set to begin on April 13.

One of the main attractions at the pavilion is the "Reborn" experience, where visitors can step into the future of city living. Using sensors and cameras, measurements are taken of various aspects of their body, including hair, skin, vision, musculoskeletal system, and cardiovascular health.

Based on this data, visitors can interact with an avatar of themselves 25 years into the future, experiencing future advancements in areas such as health, beauty, food, and transportation.

A Glimpse into the Future

An updated "human washing machine," which gained fame at the 1970 Osaka Expo, will also be on display. This machine uses fine bubbles to cleanse deep into the skin's pores and can even visualize health conditions.

Osaka Prefecture Governor Hirofumi Yoshimura was the first to try the machine during the press preview on March 23. He commented, "It felt very good. It would be interesting if it could be applied in practical settings, such as in nursing care."
