On September 16, Tokyo Disneyland opened its autumn event, Disney Halloween, to the press. The event will run until October 31.
The highlight of the event is the parade "The Villains Halloween 'Into the Frenzy'", themed around a mysterious party hosted by Disney villains. Leading the parade is Dr Facilier from the movie "The Princess and the Frog," inviting guests to the party.

Villains Take Center Stage
On stationary floats, Mickey Mouse and friends perform dances to energetic music. Flames and smoke erupt from the floats, creating a spooky, enchanting atmosphere.
However, during the press preview, the parade was canceled due to lingering summer heat. This precaution ensured the safety of both guests and performers, showing that even during an autumn event, heat measures are essential.
Uno Kikuchi, visiting with friends who also enjoy Disney and costumes, said, "It's disappointing that the parade was canceled, but we still want to enjoy the park fully in costume together."

The Park Transformed for Halloween
Decorations inspired by villains can be seen throughout the park, creating a festive atmosphere. In World Bazaar, there's a photo spot featuring pumpkin decorations shaped like Mickey, while banners featuring villains and ghost decorations are set up around Cinderella Castle.
The Mickey flowerbed at the entrance has also been replanted for Halloween. Toontown features playful decorations that delight visitors.

A Party for Adults and Children
One notable aspect of the Halloween event is that adults can enjoy full-body Disney character costumes, normally limited to children in elementary school or younger. In 2025, the event is open to adults from September 16–30 and October 16–31, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves as their favorite characters.
Tokyo Disneyland has transformed into a fun, spooky Halloween party. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the festivities, including costumes, while also taking precautions against the autumn heat.
