An exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sanrio's iconic character Hello Kitty, titled "As I Change, So Does She," and hosted by The Sankei Shimbun and others, will open at the KYOCERA Museum of Art on September 25. Discounted advance tickets are available until September 24.
Exclusive Items
First held in Tokyo, the exhibition will feature the largest-ever display of Hello Kitty merchandise. It will also showcase collaborative works with creative artists, original video content, and a variety of sections highlighting her unique charm.
A photo spot reproduces nostalgic merchandise on a giant scale — sure to delight fans. Exhibition-exclusive merchandise will also be available on-site.

Ticket Information
Advance ticket prices (including tax):
- General: ¥1,800 JPY (about $12 USD)
- High school and university students: ¥1,000
- Elementary and middle school students: ¥600
- Pair ticket (2 general tickets): ¥3,000
There is also a special ticket set for ¥3,000, which includes an acrylic stand in a Kyoto exhibition-exclusive color along with an admission ticket. Children below school age enter for free. Priority is given to those with bookings.
