Akiko Macdonald

Akiko Macdonald is director of Tozai Trading Ltd. (established 1999), a Research & Marketing Constant and Export/Import Business. Since 2008, she has served as chairperson of the Burma Campaign Society (BCS) (established 1983), a war reconciliation organization in London focused on British and Japanese war veterans and friendship between both countries, as well as with India and Myanmar. The daughter of a Japanese Imperial Army soldier who fought in the Burma and Imphal campaigns, she has lived in London since 1988 with her British husband with two children.
