Dr. Kevin M. Doak

Dr. Kevin M. Doak is a professor of East Asian Languages and Cultures and the Nippon Foundation endowed chair at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where his current research focuses on issues related to politics and religion (especially Catholicism) in modern Japan. Recently he has served as co-editor of The Journal of Japanese Studies and on the executive board of the Society for Japanese Studies. He is the author of numerous books, journal and magazine articles related to Japan in both English and Japanese.
