On October 26, a parade of yokai (supernatural creatures) took place along Look Street in Koenji, Tokyo.

The event, called "Tokyo Hyakki Yako" (night parade of one hundred demons), was organized by Yokai-ya, a group dedicated to revitalizing towns through yokai-themed events.

Fear and Fascination
The parade was held in conjunction with the Koenji Festival. It marked its second year since launching in 2023.

Around 250 participants dressed as various yokai, including a shape-shifting fox, snow woman, one-eyed creature, and crow tengu. Their eerie appearances captivated passersby, even causing some children to cry.
