New areas at teamLab Planets in Tokyo's Toyosu opened to the public on January 22. The museum features works by the globally renowned digital art collective, teamLab.
A Deeper Connection With Digital Art
Among the highlights of the new exhibits are over 10 interactive works. These include Rapidly Rotating Bouncing Spheres in the Caterpillar House, where colorful, bouncy spheres fill the room.
Another exhibit, Catching and Collecting Extinct Forest, allows visitors to use a smartphone app to "capture" extinct animals projected onto the walls and floors.
This new space invites visitors to engage more deeply with teamLab's art, with increased physical interaction making the experience even more immersive and dynamic.
