Kenji Hinohara

Kenji Hinohara is chief curator of the Ota Memorial Museum of Art and part-time lecturer at Keio University. He was born in 1974 in Chiba Prefecture and acquired his master’s degree at the Faculty of Letters of Keio University. His research focuses on the history of ukiyo-e and the history of publishing culture from the Edo period to the Meiji era. He is the author of 'An Introduction to Ukiyo-e', published in English and Japanese (2015), 'Hokusai’s Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji' (2015) an 'Introduction to Hokusai' (In English and Japanese) (2020) and many other books.
