The Nakanoshima Museum of Art (Kita Ward, Osaka City) held a press briefing on November 20 for an upcoming exhibition. Titled Capcom Creation: Moving Hearts Across the Globe, the event showcases the history of Capcom's game development. It will run from March 20 to June 22, 2025.
Exploring Capcom's Creative Legacy
The exhibition will feature panels introducing Capcom's history since its founding in 1983, including early pixel art production. It will also display materials from the company's early days and human body illustrations emphasizing muscle anatomy.
During the briefing, the museum unveiled a special exhibit — a plaster statue of Chun-Li, a character from the popular Street Fighter game series. Video projections showed the graphic creation process behind the statue's design.
Capcom producer Yasuyuki Makino remarked, "We hope visitors will learn about the creativity and ingenuity unique to games." Details on admission fees and other specifics will be announced at a later date.
