Koichi Shikama

Born in 1951. Mr. Shikama was a longterm reporter in the Sankei Shimbun City News Department, where he served as head and later editor-in-chief. He became senior managing editor of the Nippon Kogyo Shimbun. As a special reporter and editorial writer, he wrote the front-page column "Minatomachi 365" in the evening edition of the Sankei Shimbun Osaka for eight years and seven months, which was run as "Naniwa Kaze" in the Sankei News website.
