Masakazu Hosomizu
A graduate of the University of Tokyo Faculty of Law with an MBA from the University of Chicago, Hosomizu began his career at Nomura Securities before moving to Coghill Capital Management in 2005 to manage Japanese and Asian equities. From 2013 to 2024, he served as a partner and portfolio manager at RMB Capital (now Curie Capital). In 2024, he founded Sapphire Terra Capital, where he is President and Chief Investment Officer (CIO), focusing on engagement investing in Japanese equities.
