My personal trainer tells me that if I can’t assume the squat position, I won’t be able to ski well. So I’m copying the ski jumping event. It’s brutal. My left thigh is all tender. Congratulations Kobayashi on winning the gold medal.

Men’s Normal Hill event, Kobayashi Ryoyu. Gold medal!! Just as expected. Congratulations.

Kobayashi Ryoyu, and to all the national representative athletes, following the success of the bronze medal-winning men's mogul Ikuma Horishima and the athletes who have already competed. This is the first gold medal in the men's ski/jump in 24 years since the Nagano Olympics.

Wow! Gold medal for Kobayashi Ryoyu. Congratulations!!!!

Kobayashi Ryoyu gold medal. Wonderful. It seems like he’s taking deep breaths just before the start and the run. I also take deep breaths when I’m feeling nervous. It’s really important I guess.
