Fans of Studio Ghibli in the U.S. will have a chance to board the Cat Bus and ride to the theater once more, as the beloved film My Neighbor Totoro will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with a three day return to theaters.
Debuting in Japan in April of 1998, the fantastical romp helped introduce larger audiences to the work of legendary director Hayao Miyazaki in a tale that has stood the test of time thanks to its charming style and fantastical feel. Thanks to Fathom Events and GKIDS, the classic animated film will be returning to theaters September 30th, October 1st, and October 3rd.
