Akari Iiyama
Akari Iiyama is a researcher on Islamic thought and Islamic law who was born in Tokyo in 1976. As an undergraduate she received a degree in history from Sophia University before going on to do research in the graduate school of Tokyo University. Holding a PhD in literature, she currently serves as a visiting professor at Reitaku University and is the author of works such as "Rethinking Middle East Issues."
