Did you know the annual Fuji Rock Festival doesn't actually happen at Mt. Fuji? The very first event in 1997 was held at the base of the world heritage site, Fuji-san, but ever since 1999 the festival has taken place at the Naeba Ski Resort in Yuzawa, Niigata.

The event is known for attracting top international artists and combining them with the best Japanese music industry offerings. Bob Dylan returns on stage for the first time since receiving the Nobel Prize for literature, marking his 101st performance in Japan, and headlines the final day of the 3-day festival on July 29.

This year for the first time ever, select artists’ performances will be broadcast live on Fuji Rock’s official YouTube channel, and JAPAN Forward will update this page daily sharing the livestream feeds so you can join in the fun from the comfort of your living room (or anywhere else that's convenient).
