Sheila Cliffe is a professor emerita at Jumonji Gakuen Women's University in Japan. A kimono researcher, author and stylist in Tokyo, she has lectured at conferences, museums and events in Japan, England, Hawaii and South Korea, and is one of the first non-native Japanese people to hold an official kimono dressing and teaching license.
