On June 23, DENSO Corporation revealed that it was collaborating with Suntory Beverage & Food on a "horizontal recycling" project.

By effectively reusing resources, the companies aim to additionally contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. Further details on the collecting and sorting process of the plastic bottles were revealed to the press.

DENSO employees are encouraged to follow a simple protocol. After drinking from a plastic bottle, they remove the cap and also rush the empty container. Then, they deposit the bottle into any of the three designated collection stations set up at the company's headquarters.
