Journalist and author Yoshihisa Komori is The Sankei Shimbun Associate Correspondent in Washington DC and a special advisor to JAPAN Forward. He is also a professor at Reitaku University. Komori is a recipient of the Japan Newspaper and Editors Association Award for outstanding achievements and a recipient of the Vaughn-Uyeda Memorial International Prize for journalists. Komori previously served as Washington Bureau Chief (twice), China General Bureau Chief, and London Bureau Chief for the newspaper.
